Exiled from the world to achieve a higher self-realization, he discovers that deserts wither even the flowers they once promised to bloom in their promised beauty, revealing these bear only the illusory and chimerical colors of an ideal uprooted from the deep meaning of the earth and life. It is at the very heart of the living, shifting world that thought must take root, in the furrows of the night it must mature and create its beyond, this blazing star destined to reign over new horizons. However, it is not enough to search oneself, to sculpt the inner statue of the being to reveal its intense and hidden light. The poet is called to more than this: he must transcend his own existence, he must love beyond himself to learn to give, for "above oneself, humanity blazes". Thus, the poet must do more than dream a world; he must elevate it to the supreme summits of life.
